I spent a couple days sprucing up my 1990 TA. I bought some 3M carbon fiber film and covered my fork legs, wind shield, and dash. It turned out pretty good and matches my carbon exhaust. The film is pretty amazing stuff. I will use it on other projects as Im happy with how it turned out and its fairly easy to use with a heat gun and patience.

Hey, this was very nice. I have though of doing something similar to my side bags, as they are red&white( GIVI ). How do they stick to uneven surfaces?

It will cover over almost any uneven surface. Just use a hear gun and it soft and stretchy and smooth it out just take your time.

Here is a link to videos of complete cars being done and link to purchase the film

Very nice, I've been thinking about using the white carbon fiber vinyl for my lower fairings as they are cracked.
