Howdy-
I am interested in a GPS unit for my '04 TA. I am the only American motorcyclist in eastern Turkey. I want to get a unit that has maps for Turkey and Europe in English. Price is a factor because the Turkish lira has taken a nose dive lately (government problems and all). I would appreciate any advise and direction.
Thanks

Just buy one of these:

http://www.dx.com/c/car-accessories-799/car-gps-719/car-gps-navigators-721

They are cheap and real chinesse (that means you can use w/o problems all cracked navigation programs with all of maps) ;)

Can you help me sort them out?
Are there any specfically for bikes?
Any suggestions on which models I should look at?
Thanks!

I personally use a Garmin handheld map 60.
It is small, totally waterproof, and has an LCD screen that can be seen in any light.

An automotive GPS has been my choice all for a while now on various bikes. I use RAM mounts and if you poke around you can find waterproof cases if you have the need to use it while running in rain.
