Hi all. I searched the site for this to try not drag up an old subject but could only find info from 2008.

I have a '92 TA and reacently bought handguards for it. The left one went on ok but I am having problems with the right one.
Simply put its as though the break lever is just too big/long, and in the old thread they mentioned cutting the end off. Im reluctant to cut it since it just replaced the one I bent!!

I have loosened the brake lever assembly and moved it in as far as it will go and adjusted the angle a bit to see if it would work but nothing. The brake lever keeps getting caught no matter what.

Can I adjust how far away from the throttle it is? I.E distance of finger reach if ya get me

I'll post some pics later or tomorrow and double check the type of hanguards I have. They were called something Bike-it or a generic type brand.

Thanks for looking

Here are the rest of the photos.

Any help /advice /tips would be much appreciated.
Also, I was thinking of attaching the old stock hand protectors on so I get the best of both. Does anyone have any experience with this/does it work?

Thanks for looking

File comment: The package does provide a solution, take all levers and parephenalia off the bars completely!
