Hi everyone.

I've recently bought an XL700V and am excited about learning to modify it, but have no idea where to start. Has anyone got any tips of good things to get going with?

Are there any guides out there, or good places to look for sourcing modifications that will be compatible (e.g. a new exhaust, something I'd like to do - what's compatible and what's not? Does it need to be specifically made for an XL700 or can I get others on with a bit of ingenuity?).

Thanks, and sorry for the simple questions.

No need to be sorry about your questions, that's what a forum is for! Sorry but us unfortunates in the USofA don't have anything newer that a 1990. But...yes here it comes...if you'd complete your sig file I'm sure that wherever you are someone will help you.

Ouch, didn't realise you were so behind the curve out there...

I'm in the UK, so anyone with advice/experience from here would be very welcome.

You've had a win Garry.
