I picked this Transalp a week ago today.

Moved it from AZ to NM. I added the rear box for a start, should have the engine guard here this week & hope to have a set of panniers by the end of Aug. Some friends from the area go to Big Bend every Feb so I should be ready by then.
I'm use to riding a big cruiser with my feet resting on highway pegs. I've caught myself getting ready to throw my feet out to rest on the pegs a few times.
I'm really digging this bike.

your bike looks like its never hit the ground
i wish mine looked so good. what have you learned about your
ride since you got it? i got mine about a month ago for $1600 with smashed
fairing but only 9500 miles on it so i need to do some work looks wise. as far as the enjoyment and driveability its top shelf. i searched a long time for the rite bike for my family and property and nothing came close. i hope you have lots of miles and smiles with your new bike. stay in touch new alper.

Wow she looks good..

I like your box, I'm looking for a new one and something different than the standard Givi

Where did you get it and how much?

Thanks
Russ

The rear box is a Pelican case, 1520 I think.
I had it in the garage waiting to use it for something useful.

OK it looked like a Pelican case...

How did you mount/attach it?

Russ

Yes I got it from Don, Planning a trip to Big Bend in Feb. & some local rides before then. Getting use to riding in the dirt dumped it twice this weekend, no damage to the bike or me. It was very deep soft dirt.
